In preparation for the National Day of Prayer, for the next few weeks we will be sending out a daily devotional. Each Devotional will encourage you to spend time with the Lord and is designed to encourage you to examine God’s Word and to help you understand from Scripture and history how God works to revive His people and use them to change their world. If you would like to be added to the distribution list please contact Ann Lawrence.
In addition, for those who can make it, we will be meeting every Thursday in the Church office at noon. The first 3 weeks (April 13th, 20th, 27th) are to discuss the week’s devotionals, to pray and to join others in seeking God together for revival in the land. After the completion of the 28 days of devotionals, we will meet for a final time on the National Day of Prayer (May 4th). In Malachi 3:16 we read that “those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard.” This prayer devotional was prepared to facilitate that kind of conversation and prayer, to study His Word about revival and spiritual awakening, to help us talk about His Will and His Ways and to draw us closer to Him. It is designed to encourage each of us to pray both individually and with others to “spur one another on toward love and good deeds” (Heb. 10:24).
We need spiritual renewal and revival in America. We pray that these daily devotionals will encourage you to take time to pray as you seek the kind of relationship with God through which He can revive you and use you for revival and awakening. Everyone is welcome and can join us at any time.
